Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
  • Yoga Mat: We encourage all students to bring their own mats to limit the amount of communal touch points we have at the studio. That said, we have a limited supply of mats available at the studio for rent for $2 per class. You will be asked to clean your rental mat after class if you use one of ours, but we provide cleaning supplies.

  • Yoga mat towel: Use of a yoga mat towel is recommended in hot yoga classes. We encourage all students to bring their own yoga mat towels if they choose to use them to limit communal touch points we have at the studio, but we do have limited yoga mat towels available at the studio for $2 per class.

  • Water/water bottle: Water fountain available, but we currently do not sell water.

WHAT DO I WEAR? 
  • Clothing that does not restrict your movement. 

  • Please no bathing suits, glitter, body- scents or tube tops.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
  • We are on Barracks Row in Eastern Market at 405 8th St. SE, Washington, DC 20003.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY CLASS?
  • Doors open 10mins ahead of all classes. We cannot accept late comers or walk-ups at this time.

  • Instructors may choose to let you in after the start of class, but are not required to do so.

  • We encourage all students to download the District Flow Yoga app and enable geo-location check-in so they can check themselves into class before setting foot in the studio!

WHAT IS YOUR LATE POLICY & CANCELLATION POLICY?
  • As a courtesy to our students, once the lobby doors lock, students will not be allowed entry to the practice room. Instructors may choose to let you in after the start of class, but are not required to do so.

  • Cancellation Policy for Unlimited Members: $15 (plus tax and fees) for a cancellation within 2 hours of a class.

  • Cancellation Policy for Drop Ins: Loss of class credit (valued at $23 - $28) for a cancellation within 6 hours of a class.

  • We encourage all students to download the District Flow Yoga app and enable geo-location check-in so they can check themselves into class before setting foot in the studio! This helps mitigate any incorrectly marked late cancellations or no-show fees.

HOW CAN I GET TO THE STUDIO? 
  • The studio is located a block away from the Eastern Market metro!

  • There is ample street parking (both paid and free) available nearby.

  • Please note that we do not validate parking at this time.

DO YOU HAVE ANY DISCOUNTS?
  • We offer discount classes for students and military. Please email info@districtflowyoga.com to get more information and sign up!

  • We offer a workstudy program where students will receive a free membership in exchange for cleaning the studio 2 hours per week. Please email info@districtflowyoga.com if you are interested!

GUEST PASSES INFORMATION
  • Please have your guest make an account with us at https://www.districtflowyoga.com/register-login or through the District Flow Yoga app.

  • Unlimited Members can bring 2 guests per month.

  • Members will need to use the District Flow Yoga app under Guest Passes to sign up their guests. Please select the name of your guest in the app and sign them up with you for the class you're both taking!

PAYMENT METHOD:
  • District Flow accepts all major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

  • We are a cash-less business. 

OVERALL INFORMATION FOR CLASSES

Please see below for information regarding your class. Please note that social distancing will be enforced for all in-person outdoor and indoor classes. Masks are optional for class. We look forward to seeing you on your mat!

  • In-Studio Classes: ​

    • Must register at least 5 mins ahead of class 

    • Cancelation Policy for Members: $15 for a cancelation within 2 hours of a class

    • Cancelation Policy for Drop Ins: Loss of class (valued at $23 - $28) for a cancelation within 6 hours of a class

    • The studio has limited yoga mats and yoga towels available for rent for $2 per session. 

    • Please arrive 10mins prior to class start time for all in-studio classes to ensure there is time to check in and complete the relevant check-in and waiver procedures.

    • Late students will not be allowed in once class has started. Instructors may let you in after class, but are not required to.

    • Shoe storage will be provided

    • We have yoga blocks, yoga straps and yoga blankets available for use at the studio, but ask that you clean them after class.

    • Teachers may offer hands on adjusts and assists, but will ask for continuous consent if they do so.

  • Outdoor Classes:

    • Walk-ups will be accepted at this time.

    • Must register at least 10min ahead of class

    • Cancelation Policy for Members: $15 for a cancelation within 2 hours of a class

    • Cancelation Policy for Drop Ins: Loss of class for a cancelation within 12 hours of a class

    • The studio will not provide rentals or communal props at this time. You may bring your own props for yin.

    • Please arrive no more than 15mins prior to class start time

    • Please bring your own mat, bug spray, water and towels.

  • Livestream Classes:

    • We currently do not offer livestream classes. When we offer them again, the following procedures will apply.

    • Students must register for Livestream classes at least 30mins prior to the class start time. We cannot guarantee that an email with the Zoom link will be sent to students that register after this 30min mark

    • All guests that register at least 30mins prior to class start time will receive an email from Fitgrid an hour prior to class start time with the link and login information for the class. Please check your spam and "other" boxes if you cannot locate the email.

    • If you did not receive the email, contact info@districtflowyoga.com to receive the link!
